Staycation aka weekend getaway/ vacation is one of the best ways to travel on a budget. Its the perfect escape from your every day environment for a day or two. If you follow me on Instagram (@vonetteorinda ) you probably know that a couple of weeks back my blogger friend Winnie Odande and I had our very first staycation exprience at The Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel formerly known as the Meridian Hotel.
The hotel is located right in the heart of Nairobi's Central Business District (CBD) at Murang'a road off Moi Avenue. The location of the hotel makes it convenient for budget travelers as well as for individuals who are on a short trip for business or leisure.
Their food is amazing, the staff are friendly and professional offering great service to the guest. We really had a good time so much that we even had a chance to do a photo shoot and in the next couple of weeks I will be sharing those photos right here on the blog. If you love taking photos this hotel has many spots to do that especially at the rooftop where there is a heated pool and a mini bar.The view up there is breath taking.
Winnie and I were treated to the full on luxury experience, we stayed at the superior twin room and our hotel package came with a buffet meal for dinner and breakfast.
Our stay at Best Western Plus meridian was the perfect way to have a relaxing vacation without having to break the bank or even leave home. You really don't have to go far to have fun, there are plenty of vacation opportunities right in your home town.
