Outfit Post:Stripes & Polka Dots

                                                    
                                                              Happy Monday lovelies!

I have been in love with stripes for a while now and decided to mix it up with my polka dot skirt and i love the out come.With the cold weather in Nairobi you just have to put on stockings once in a while especially if you wearing a skirt.I love this dark stockings they are just perfect with short dresses & skirts.

Since i love colours & scarves so much i accessorized my outfit with this lovely pink hand bag that i bought from Bata and a leopard print scarf that i bought from H&M.I know most of the times am always in heels but once in a while i do put on flat shoes and for this look i wore white mid heels,i must admit they are very comfy shoes you can run errands in them unlike the high heels i usually wear.

Last week i got featured in The Business Daily Newspaper among other fashion bloggers Sienna & Sharon Mundia it was really a happy moment for me.I wont get into details about the feature as you can read more on the link.All i can say is that am really impressed on how my blog has grown over the months.I remember when the blog clocked 3 years i was happy about what i had achieved but i knew i had to work harder on my posts that's why i had to get a professional photographer to work with me and so far the results have been amazing,hitting the 100,000 thousand page views mark is a huge achievement for me.Am so grateful to all of you who always stop by my blog and check out my posts.Its because of you all that am here.Thank you so much!

Outfit Post:Striped Skirt in four fashionable ways

Hello Lovelies,
Striped skirts,dresses,tops,pants are a hot trend this season but sometimes you can get confused on how to style your stripped outfit.I came up with my own way of wearing a striped skirt.Check it out

A trend that won't phase out anytime soon has got to be the peplum outfits.A peplum top always looks good when worn with a fitting skirt especially a pencil skirt.A black peplum skirt paired with a black and white striped skirt is just a perfect monochrome look.

Adding colour also makes the striped skirt look bright and fun.You don't necessarily have to wear pink am sure you can put on a yellow jacket and still look stunning.

Even a simple sleeveless top can as well be worn with the skirt and also the shoes matter as well.I particularly love my black ankle boots i have worn them a couple of times,i just can't let go though i think i need to.

You can also go for the official stylish look with a half coat.Here i tried mixing up colours if not colour blocking.Also accessories also add some edge to the whole look.
