Outfit Post:What i wore

I took a short hiatus from blogging but am back now and it sure feels good.Am not a big fan of the cold & rainy weather because dressing up can become a bit of a problem more so when you have to layer up just to keep warm and if you have a really amazing outfit inside no one gets to see it.Its no option though when its cold you just have to keep warm regardless.Last week i took a few photos of what i wore and if you follow me on Instagram or if you are my friend on Facebook you probably have seen these photos.

I threw on a blue Jeans that i bought from Jamia Mall,a simple t shirt inside..nothing fancy and a white sweater which i think i bought it at Ngara Market and black ankle boots that i bought from Bata and animal print scarf i bought in Abu Dhabi sometime back.I wore this to the office on a Friday..i tend to wear jeans mostly on Fridays as its usually dress down Fridays at work.

Then on Saturday i wore Black tights and a loose chiffon top both of them  i bought from Mr Price,animal print scarf i bought it from Flo Essentials she really sells nice scarves you will be spoilt for choice,and the "sweater"i bought it from Toi Market,pink flat shoes i bought them from Market stalls.

As i mentioned yesterday on facebook i will be hosting a second giveaway on the blog am really excited about it,it wont have complicated instructions to follow,i promise it will be easy and fun.I will blog about the details on Thursday.It will run for a week.Other than that I was trying out my camera tripod stand over the weekend,i have had it since i bought the camera and i have never really used it to take photos i always prefer someone taking photos of me but now i just have to get used to it as i havent been keeping up with outfit posts because of a flimsy excuse that there is no one to take photos of me.Here are just a few photos i took over the weekend...and trust me its not as easy as it looks,am still trying to get a hang of it.

The pics are a bit blurry,apologies for that...Here i wore red pants that i have worn before here and a blue graphic vest top i bought it from Mr Price,the Neck Piece was a gift.

I wore a little bit of make up,i had on Black Opal True colour liquid foundation and Island Beauty Red Lipstick.

OutFit Post:Red on Pink!

Hello Lovelies!

Hope everybody is doing fine.I had a lovely weekend,after work on saturday i went to the salon to get my hair done...yes i work on saturdays i  really don't like it but its not like i have an option!I decided to get a short weave for a change.
Since i was feeling abit lazy to cook  i decided to order some food through HelloFood Kenya thank God for them because you can order food through them from any restaurant of your choice..guess what i had!Nyama Choma n Ugali....my favourite meal..any way back to my outfit...this is what i wore!

I wore red skinny pants and this very light top that has very vibrant colours i like this top because you can pair it up with any pair of coloured of jeans or even a short.To add more funk to the outfit i decided to accessorize with chunky african print bangles and a ring and blue button like earings.

I wore this pink heels...i heart them.

My Dog Damian usually gets so excited whenever we are at the balcony taking photos so that's him behind me,the number of times he was photo bombing me yesterday..lol..i just had to take a pic with him.

Outfit Post:Feeling Blue

Hey!

Hope you had an amazing weekend.Mine wasn't so awesome as i expected.I havent blogged for a while and its for honest reasons like i have been feeling uninspired to do a post and thats not a good thing at all...but on the brighter side i will be launching some fancy African accessories before the end of the week and am so excited about it!.
Here is what i wore yesterday,Blue skinny jeans and a blue top i was feeling Blue :( inside but on the outside i felt amazing!

The accessories i have on,the bangles and the clutch bag are handmade and designed by yours truly right here!so keep it vonette!and you will get a chance to see and buy them if you interested.
I feel like there has been quite a huge growth in my life in terms of fashion,like if you check my blogposts especially the ones from last year...i would  rock a nice outfit but no make up and i read somewhere that a woman without make up is like food without salt...i was like eeeeeeh..o_O...so i decided am going to be wearing make up as it brightens up ones look.Like yesterday i totally felt like i looked really nice and of course my new hairstyle i love it to bits!:)

You see how different i look?If you are a lady and you don't apply make up...well i think its high time you try it out....This photo is currently on my instagram,you can follow me for more pics.

Outfit Post:Sunny Yellow

How are you!

Am fine cant complain much except that i have been late in posting some outfit posts.All the same this is what i wore last weekend...eeeeh the other weekend.Sorry for the late post..;(

I wore a sheer top,Pink short and my ankle boots...i really love them but they are kinda high i dont wear them so often.

That day the weather was just fantastic!am currently enjoying the weather in Nairobi although the heat can at times be too much.
Here is the most recent outfit,Its what i wore on sunday.

What i really loved about my Sunny Yellow look is the statement Neck Piece...i bought at Super Cosmetics along Koinange Street,they really have unique Neck Pieces.My sunflower bag i bought from the streets there a while back there were women exhibiting hand made items and the moment i saw the bag i was totally impressed!

And now am officially addicted to red lipstick,i just cant get enough!Maybe its also because Red is my favourite colour!I got positive response from my make up post on redlipstick....thanks much!Oh and my chunky Pink Bracelet i bought it from my pal Owendi check out her page here,she sells some pretty shoes too.

Make Up Wednesdays:The Red Lipstick

Hellowwww!

Yes i know its thursday but i really wanted to post this yesterday...so its make up wednesdays on thursday..:-)!Yes!Now lets get to it...:-).I actually never liked lipsticks at all!anything coloured on my lips was a no no for me but then again when you grow up thinks change,the things that you used to not like you fall in love with them.
So my lipstick journey started with a pink lipstick as i was too afraid to try out a red one..:-)

Before deciding on which lipstick to apply,you should get a colour that matches your skin tone.The good thing is that there are different shades of colours that can match with your skin tone.You just cant walk into a beauty shop and say i want a red lipstick...you can buy one that will totally dissappoint you.So keep in mind your skin tone when buying a lipstick.
After gaining confidence i finally bought a red lipstick but i first did my research on how dark skinned girls should look in redlipstick..hehehe i didnt want a trial and error situation so i got me a Sleek Red lipstick pearl wine no.542..and the moment i tried it on i completely fell in love with it!

I couldn't wait to get home and try it on vizuri meaning well in Swahili...whats your take?Are you bold enough to try?

Between the red and the pink Lipstick i would say i love the red one totally works for me!Hope you have enjoyed my make up post...
