I have been eagerly waiting to share the news with you lovelies for the longest!I couldn't really talk much about it as I was busy trying to set up my shop and stock it with a few stuff and finally now am ready to make the big announcement!Yes my shop is now ready!Its basically a boutique full of fashionable trendy outfits,accessories,shoes,handbags you name it all things gorgeous!Like I mentioned earlier on this Post most of the outfits are custom made and a few pieces are ready to wear so at the moment you will need to pre order the outfits but in a few weeks I will have ready to wear outfits designed by yours truly Vonette!

Its been a minute :( well...hope y'all good!All the same i have been up to some good things ,i recently partnered with Jumia Kenya and you can now buy my clutch bag set(clutch bag,earings and bangles)on their online website.They do deliveries all over Kenya.Here is a preview of the bags on their online shop here

I know online shopping is still adjusting but for sure i can guarantee that Jumia Kenya won't dissappoint.They do their deliveries on time and whats more the payment methods are diverse you can use your visa card,master card ,mpesa and even pay for the goods upon delivery  a good deal huh!

EVENT REVIEW:Creatives Garage Turning One Party

Hey!Hope y'all good

The Creatives Garage Turning One Party is an event that i was happy to be part of,its amazing to see the talent that people have out there.The Creatives Garage is basically a platform for the people who are talented in various forms of art from spoken word,fashion design,visual artists,graffiti artists,poets...you name them.I had the chance to be apart of this event where i was one of the exhibitors,showcasing the various African Print stuff i make...clutch bags,earings,bangles and t-shirts.

I got to meet talented guys in various forms of art and i was more than dazzled by the talent that is out there,I particularly couldnt get enough of Nuru Bahati's art,he is a visual artist and a very lively person.

I also met other designers like manciny Neemoh who also does African Print Bangles,earings ....i liked her style..

African Prints Accessories!

When i started my own business in African Print stuff it was and its still is for the passion of African Fashion.If anything i started fashion blogging because i kind of felt African Fashion is not  being given the credit it deserves especially to the designers.So i would feature different designers in Africa on my blogger.If you are an ardent follower on my blogger you will notice this but i later sort of diverted from that and it doesn't mean i no longer have interest in African designers,if anything i adore both the emerging designers and those who have already created a name for themselves out there.Anyway let me not loose focus here...i have noticed that currently in Kenya,the love of African Print or rather Kitenge trend is actually catching up fast with us.I recently attended an event hosted by creatives garage an amazing platform for people who talented in various arts,i showcased my African Print accessories and the response was quite good,people want to be associated with Africa either in printed t shirts or just simple print bangles or earrings.Even celebrities like Solange Knowles want to be associated with the African Print

We also need to embrace our own African made stuff and support each other not just letting it be for the tourists who come to our country.So y'all Kenyan Ladies reading this post,atleast make a point of owning an african accessory in your wardrobe,it can even be just a simple African print Clutch bag,speaking of which,my next post will be all about how my first showcase at the creatives garage was!You dont want to miss out on that.

Outfit Post:Feeling Blue

Hey!

Hope you had an amazing weekend.Mine wasn't so awesome as i expected.I havent blogged for a while and its for honest reasons like i have been feeling uninspired to do a post and thats not a good thing at all...but on the brighter side i will be launching some fancy African accessories before the end of the week and am so excited about it!.
Here is what i wore yesterday,Blue skinny jeans and a blue top i was feeling Blue :( inside but on the outside i felt amazing!

The accessories i have on,the bangles and the clutch bag are handmade and designed by yours truly right here!so keep it vonette!and you will get a chance to see and buy them if you interested.
I feel like there has been quite a huge growth in my life in terms of fashion,like if you check my blogposts especially the ones from last year...i would  rock a nice outfit but no make up and i read somewhere that a woman without make up is like food without salt...i was like eeeeeeh..o_O...so i decided am going to be wearing make up as it brightens up ones look.Like yesterday i totally felt like i looked really nice and of course my new hairstyle i love it to bits!:)

Inspiration Mondays!

Hey!

Its been a minute!Honestly i have been busy working on a new project in regards to fashion that will soon be revealed.I mentioned about my Fashion dreams in my first blog post this year,so am really working hard to make that dream become a reality.
One thing for sure is that Fashion Business aint a piece of cake as some might think,it takes a lot of hard work.Especially for me whose working and am also finishing up on my college project...so its abit hectic but it must be done.

This time round,i plan to go all the way out on my designs its going to be a variety of stuff,i will mention all about when am through with everything.
At some point i was giving up on my Fashion dream,i felt like i was trying too hard because things were not falling to place as i wanted,but now am all ready for the challenge!am going to face it head on,so y'all better be ready for me.

My focus is mainly on african Fashion as i feel Africa has soo much potential when it comes to fashion and i believe Kitenge is an amazing fabric that can do wonders.

Am so excited about my upcoming collection and i just can't wait to share it with the world.

Outfit Post:Green Day!

Hi Y'all,
It feels like ages since i blogged!but am happy to be back at least now am done with school,from now on its just me n fashion.I have a fashion project am working on that i will reveal the details next week.so watch out for that.I will also be consistent on my blog post i sure have been MIA for quite a long time but am back now more energized.
So my weekend was interesting though yesterday it rained so much but at least i had a chance to take pics of what i wore.

Hey Lovely people!

Am really trying to keep up with my outfit posts,am so proud of myself.Hope y'all fine.You know i always thought taking photos for the blog would be so easy....well its not as easy as i thought,before i get the right pic i go through a lot of posing and after that editing begins....and it ain't easy at all and there is nothing as disappointing when you have taken pics and when editing you cant seem to find the right pics to use on the blog,it happened to me once but all in all its a learning process and am really getting a hang of it.So behind the smiles just know i went through a lot of poses.
