What i wore to FAFA

I was really not sure of what to wear on this big day,so i decided to design this simple outfit and thank God i have an awesome tailor who makes my outfits as i want them. You see when it comes to attending fashion events most of my outfits are usually custom made i prefer it that way as its cheaper to get a tailor to do my dress compared to buying it from the shop and furthermore if you want your outfit to be outstanding its better to design it yourself.

Outfit Post:What i wore

I took a short hiatus from blogging but am back now and it sure feels good.Am not a big fan of the cold & rainy weather because dressing up can become a bit of a problem more so when you have to layer up just to keep warm and if you have a really amazing outfit inside no one gets to see it.Its no option though when its cold you just have to keep warm regardless.Last week i took a few photos of what i wore and if you follow me on Instagram or if you are my friend on Facebook you probably have seen these photos.

I threw on a blue Jeans that i bought from Jamia Mall,a simple t shirt inside..nothing fancy and a white sweater which i think i bought it at Ngara Market and black ankle boots that i bought from Bata and animal print scarf i bought in Abu Dhabi sometime back.I wore this to the office on a Friday..i tend to wear jeans mostly on Fridays as its usually dress down Fridays at work.

Then on Saturday i wore Black tights and a loose chiffon top both of them  i bought from Mr Price, animal print scarf i bought it from Flo Essentials she really sells nice scarves you will be spoilt for choice, and the "sweater"i bought it from Toi Market, pink flat shoes i bought them from Market stalls.

As i mentioned yesterday on facebook i will be hosting a second giveaway on the blog am really excited about it,it wont have complicated instructions to follow,i promise it will be easy and fun.I will blog about the details on Thursday. It will run for a week.Other than that I was trying out my camera tripod stand over the weekend,i have had it since i bought the camera and i have never really used it to take photos i always prefer someone taking photos of me but now i just have to get used to it as i havent been keeping up with outfit posts because of a flimsy excuse that there is no one to take photos of me.Here are just a few photos i took over the weekend...and trust me its not as easy as it looks,am still trying to get a hang of it.

The pics are a bit blurry, apologies for that...Here i wore red pants that i have worn before here and a blue graphic vest top i bought it from Mr Price, the Neck Piece was a gift.

I wore a little bit of make up,i had on Black Opal True colour liquid foundation and Island Beauty Red Lipstick.
Thanks for stopping by and apologies for my blurry photos next time they will be better.See you on thursday when i will be launching the giveaway details.
Have a lovely day

Outfit Post:What I wore to Nairobi Fashion market Event

The spectacular event took place at the Ngong Racecourse for two days Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th Oct.I was ubber excited especially when i got complimentary tickets which was just by sheer luck.

So i wore an Aztec Print Pencil dress which i bought from a friend's shop here and silver sandals that i bought from Mr.Price, for the accessories the sunglasses i bought them from Mr.Price too and the neck piece is from super cosmetics i have worn it here before and the chunky african print bangles i made them. The Orange bag i bought from an online shop on facebook.

I love this pencil dress more so because of the prints and it can still look stylish if you pair it up with heels but for this particular event i didn't want to subject myself to that because i knew i would move around a lot so i went for the sandals. To break the monochrome look i had an orange bag just to add more life to my whole look.
I took lots of photos am putting them up on my next blog post and i also met a fellow  fashion blogger  Lucia Musau

I
We met after the event so we really didn't have a chance to take a good photo. She is a really good fashion blogger and i admire her sense of style!I was so happy to see her!
I didnt want to post everything on one post so my next post is on the event, from vendors, runway shows  to street style.

Thanks for checking out my blog!

OutFit Post:Red on Pink!

Hello Lovelies!

Hope everybody is doing fine.I had a lovely weekend, after work on saturday i went to the salon to get my hair done...yes i work on saturdays i  really don't like it but its not like i have an option!I decided to get a short weave for a change.
Since i was feeling abit lazy to cook  i decided to order some food through HelloFood Kenya thank God for them because you can order food through them from any restaurant of your choice..guess what i had!Nyama Choma n Ugali....my favourite meal..any way back to my outfit...this is what i wore!

I wore red skinny pants and this very light top that has very vibrant colours i like this top because you can pair it up with any pair of coloured of jeans or even a short. To add more funk to the outfit i decided to accessorize with chunky african print bangles and a ring and blue button like earings.

I wore this pink heels...i heart them.

My Dog Damian usually gets so excited whenever we are at the balcony taking photos so that's him behind me,the number of times he was photo bombing me yesterday..lol..i just had to take a pic with him.

Outfit Post:High Waist African Print Skirt

Over the weekend,i attended Prinsloo 7's at Nakuru. As usual rugby events are full of hype, die hard fanatics who are just hilarious and you can't miss to see fashionable people around. What i wore on this day was a high waist African Print skirt, chiffon top,African print bangles and orange strap wedges.I went for the pretty chic laid back look.

What i love most about Rugby events is just the spirit of cheering the best teams but i personally cheer anyone with the ball who is running super fast to go score :) hope one day i can understand 100% what usually goes on in the pitch.

The weather at Nakuru was amazing its not as cold as it is in Nairobi. What i didn't like much was the night life the famous night clubs were fully packed and i can bet its peeps from Nairobi who are to blame!all the same i had an amazing time at Nakuru.
Am really struggling with editing my pics and they are taking forever to load...I will do another post on street style at Nakuru Prinsloo 7's as i had taken photos of fashionable people at the event. Here is just one of them the rest will be uploaded in my next post.

Thanks for reading my blog,i promise more photos about the event on my next post.Have a lovely evening.
