I enjoy online shopping and once in a while I buy my outfits from various international online stores. One of the reasons I shop online is because I get to buy unique and affordable items. One of the online stores am currently crushing on is SheIn they have quite unique clothes which you don't have to break the bank to buy. They have quite a variety of trendy items which include:
How to Style tappered pants
Tuesday, March 7, 2017
Tapered pants fit comfortably at the thigh and taper narrower to the ankle. The difference between tapered pants and skinny pants, of course, is the fit. Skinny is tight and tapered are loose fitting. They are comfortable, stylish and somehow brings out a sophisticated kind of look to the individual wearing it.
I paired my tapered pants with a cream coloured bodysuit and I threw on a sleeveless chiffon coat with nude Sandal heels. This is an outfit I would wear to a meeting, lunch date and definitely wear it to an evening fashion event. I just love how its effortless and classy.
Style Challenge with Kendra Thornton
Tuesday, April 29, 2014
Planning a vacation out of town can be quite hectic especially if you have no idea on what to pack for that particular trip.I believe the first thing that will help you narrow down on the outfits to pack is the location of where you are planning to go,from there you can easily pack your outfits according to the weather and the activities in which you plan to be involved in while you are there.
When Kendra Thornton approached me to give her advice on what she should pack for her Miami trip,I was more than delighted and ready to help her out,so i immediately accepted the challenge.
Kendra Thornton appears as a travel expert on television stations across the country to offer travel tips and deals to millions of people every year. She makes regular appearances on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and CW stations in major cities such as New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. She has also made special guest appearances on Fox News, The Nate Show, Fine Living Network and The Tyra Banks Show.
The style challenge is about what to wear for a romantic getaway with her Husband in Miami, she already has booked her accomodation at Hotel Beaux Arts Miami, with the help of Gogobot she reviewed the different hotels in Miami which made it easier for her to select and book her accommodation there.
she is looking forward to enjoying the cuisine at db Bistro moderne, which features the creations of New York Chef of the year Daniel Boulud. She is also looking forward to enjoying Yoga & Sauna at the hotel. She also wants style recommendation on what to wear while going on shopping, spending time with her husband and also soaking up in the sun.
With that information in mind all i could think of is the sun, sand, beach and amazing weather.I put together outfits that are light and comfortable to wear more of summer outfits. Here is what i put together for this particular Style challenge.

Like i said,am loving the weather, just perfect hope it stays that way and doesn't get cold.Am such a sucker for polyvore sets and once i start creating them i just cant stop,i feel like going on and on clearly am in love with styling. When i come across amazing sets like this one i feel obliged to share them on my Facebook page and as long as it doesn't have my Vonette logo on it just know it hasn't been put together by me.There are lots of creative people out there that's for sure,my favourite sets:
Words can't even describe how much i heart Janelle Monae's style,i respect her for her exquisite look and creativity when it comes to fashion.
Miss Bee!looking all classy and dazzling..i think black and white is the simplest look to go for for some reason there is usually some sort of "classyness" to it.
For this particular set what attracted me was the colour block(blue n red)so perfect and the blue pants are to die for!
You can check out more sets on shortyluv's polyvore.
Have an awesome weekend & always stay Fabulous.

How to dress up for the cold weather
Tuesday, July 23, 2013
Hey Beautiful people,
Its been a while since i posted, huh?been awfully busy with so much stuff happening in my life and i decided to give myself a break from blogging for a little while,am back now in full swing :)!I cant wait for "kenyan winter" to be over its been cold since June!arrgghh!Anywhay here are some of outfit ideas i have come up with to beat this cold season.I decided to divide the Looks into different categoreis:
The Office Wear/Look
If you love colours like i do then you will definately like this look. This outfit idea is for the fashion loving chic as it has a little bit of colour block a trend that i dont think will come of age any time soon also the neon colours make you feel a little bit of warm inside. One amazing thing about bright coloured outfits is that they automatically get you noticed and brighten up your mood on a dull day.So if you wake up grumpy or maybe you having a presentation at work, definately wear bright colours and you will feel confident about yourself.
Edgy Look
What i love about this look is the combination of the skirt and knee boots, very unique.Ideal for the fashionable chic who wants to make a fashion statement and stand out from the crowd.Yes you can still wear that skirt even when its cold as long as you wear your fancy knee high boots.
Casual Chic
I think you can never go wrong with the distressed denim jeans,so if its not that cold you can always pair it up with nice boots and a jacket. This look is warm, simple and still stylish.Ideal for the college girl and just a casual look for that cold saturday.
I will post more polyvore sets on my FaceBook Page here.Stay warm and comments, suggestions will be highly appreciated.Have an awesome week.
