Faux leather Catsuit & ankle boots
Thursday, May 23, 2019
I love thrifted ( mtumba/second hand) outfits so much because you can easily pick a unique item that you won't spot someone across the street wearing it when you do. My good friend Vosti has an amazing eye for good quality thrifted items.
Celebrating the big wins and lessons I've learnt through blogging
Friday, May 17, 2019
When my friend Mwende told me I was nominated for this years BAKE Awards ( Bloggers Association of Kenya) I was so happy that my blog made the cut. Last year when I decided to come back to blogging after an 11 month hiatus, I made a decision and a promise to myself that I would work hard on my content. A year later I can proudly say that I've done exactly that and its been the best year in my blogging career. I've worked with brands that I could only imagine off.
I'd like to share some lessons I've learnt about content creation.
Event Recap : A bubbly afternoon of Moet & Chandon at the LM Network event held at Tribe hotel
Thursday, April 4, 2019
Last weekend I attended the second edition of LM Network event dubbed " Hats and Stilettos" that took place at the Tribe hotel in Nairobi. The event was filled with members who dressed the part, going by the monochrome theme accessorizing with hats, fascinators and stilettos.
The event's theme "Your network is your net worth" provided a platform for all the members to interact. We mingled as well as exchanged business cards and contacts. I managed to make new friends whom I believe we'll work together on future projects.

Wednesday, August 22, 2018
Last week I traveled up country for a family function. I was so excited about going on a road trip, my shagz( village) is quite a distance from the city, Migori county to be precise. That is where my mum comes from but am a luo from Kendu Bay my dad' side which is in Homa Bay county.
I was in Migori County and if you are my friend on Facebook am sure you saw my status update in Luo ( my mother tongue) mentioning the delicacies I intended to eat during my stay.

I have been receiving so many questions on how I started out as a blogger and today I will share with you my journey. I started blogging in 2011/2012 back then I wasn't ready to share my own personal style, I would particularly post pictures of African fashion models wearing African print outfits. I was fascinated that kitenge was actually a trend overseas and there were different trendy ways to custom make them.

Monday, May 28, 2018
The current trend of styling thigh high boots during winter is to pair them up with an over sized coat or sweater. Thigh high boots are statement pieces on their own.

Weekend dress
Saturday, April 1, 2017
The weekend is finally here and its April already! Days are flying by so fast, just the other it was January and now here we are looking forward to Easter. Its all good though.
I bet by now you all know how much am into short dresses, I've worn them a couple of times here on the blog. I like wearing short dresses during fashion events or on a night out. When I saw this particular dress I saw my name written all over it, it was love at first sight. I particularly like the peplum and the animal print details. I paired the dress with nude pumps to keep the look sassy and classy.

How to Style tappered pants
Tuesday, March 7, 2017
Tapered pants fit comfortably at the thigh and taper narrower to the ankle. The difference between tapered pants and skinny pants, of course, is the fit. Skinny is tight and tapered are loose fitting. They are comfortable, stylish and somehow brings out a sophisticated kind of look to the individual wearing it.
I paired my tapered pants with a cream coloured bodysuit and I threw on a sleeveless chiffon coat with nude Sandal heels. This is an outfit I would wear to a meeting, lunch date and definitely wear it to an evening fashion event. I just love how its effortless and classy.
Laced
Monday, March 6, 2017
Happy Monday darlings!
One thing I always know for a fact is that you can never go wrong with the colour black. I like lace tops but if I were to choose between a white one and a black one, I would definitely go for the black one because its easier to style and also pairing it up is quite simple. You can either go for a bright coloured pair of pants or skirt and still look stylish. This look can perfectly pass for a day to night look as well.
