Hope you've been well. I know I know its been a minute, lets just say life happens I don't even want to bore you with the nitty gritty's of where I've been am just glad to be back and this time round lets just say I'm here to stay.
I adore Lipsy London dresses they are just too fabulous and classy.You already have seen the Michelle Keagan dress here that I got from Lipsy London as well. They currently have an Ariane Grande collection,I must say the collection is quite something. I fell in love with this skater dress the instant I saw it because one: I like short dresses and two bare backs give me life! so of course there is no way I was going to let go of this one. I played it safe by pairing it up with blue heel sandals and minimal accessory, that is my watch and a pearl bracelet. This type of dress need not to be heavily accessorized because the sequin details are more than enough.
Olav of the fashion blog  The Lifestyle spread and a very good friend of mine was also part of this shoot,to get more details of his outfit follow his blog . I must say he has impeccable style!

2015 In review. Happy 2016!

So it's a wrap huh! 2015 is over and done with in a few hours!What can I say,It's been the best year of my life I've learn't to appreciate the good days as much as the bad days. Earlier in 2015 I went into a state of depression,things were just not working out for me and accepting that was really had for me,but with time I over came it and out of that I became a better person.

One of my  highs has got to be the time KTN E curve featured me on their show ,words can't explain how humbled I felt! then later on numerous features on magazines like X news,Karen Magazine,people daily among others.Also working with amazing Kenyan designers was a big deal for me.

I've lost friends that I knew would be here with me until the end,as much as I was in denial of that,I've learnt to accept that it's ok and not everyone belongs in my path.

I've found love too,the most amazing man is part of my life and I honestly couldn't ask for more. Am more than grateful to have him in my life!

Photographers have been my greatest disappointment! Being a blogger is hard enough let alone having a good photographer! I hope in 2016 things will be better.

Outfit Post : High Low brights

Happy Thursday everyone!
Am currently enjoying the sunny weather in Nairobi,the weather forecasters predict that there is going to be an el Nino next month,that really freaks me out!I pray it doesn't happen.
As for now am enjoying the beautiful sunny weather.Today's outfit am wearing a high low orange top and black tights,what I love about the high low top is that its fabric is light just a perfect throw on for a  sunny day and pairing them up with tights is just a perfect fit.

I came across this famous Bob Marley quote on the internet,you know I love quotes that speak to me and this quote got me thinking...how  we give so much of ourselves to people we love especially if you in a relationship with that special someone.Well let me tell you my story

A couple of months back I was dating this guy that I honestly liked so much.He swept me off my feet the first few months  and I was quite impressed.A few months into the relationship we started having fights,you know..the normal fights couples have and I thought we would get past it just like the other fights we had and besides it wasn't such a big deal, I thought.
 Suddenly "the boyfriend" stopped returning my calls texting me back,keep in mind this is someone who did call me/text me every hour of the day.I was really hurt and I couldn't comprehend what was going on.There is nothing as bad as when someone doesn't respond to your text messages for days that end up turning into weeks.

When he finally came around we talked about our issues and I tried to understand him but I felt like he showed me a side to him that really shocked me because I thought  if roles were to be reversed I wouldn't mistreat him the way he did .You see I love me and I always put myself first ,when someone hurts me I really try to understand them and where they are coming from and vice versa.Anyway we eventually broke up as it just wasn't working out between us and I experienced so much hurt in the short time we were dating and that's when it hit me that everyone is going to hurt you at some point in life we just have to find the ones who are worth it,you know...those who hurt you but still make you a better person out of it all.

Are the people around you worth suffering for?

Event Review : Fashion High Tea 2015

I have attended enough Fashion events and nothing came close to Fashion High Tea 2015 at the Zen gardens.I had the time of my life,I loved everything about the event from the location,the set up.the fashion people who were all dressed to kill,the photographers were on standby to capture the moment.It was well organized,Kudos to the event organizers and to Diana Opoti's PR team for making sure all went well.I won't say much now but will let the photos do the talking.

This is one event you don't want to miss come 2016.

Life Lately via Instagram

Hope you've  all been keeping well.Its been a minute since I posted but not to worry am here now but if you have been keeping up with  me on Instagram am sure you know what i have been up to,if not I will let you in on it.Here are a few snap shots from my Instagram.

Last week I attended the media launch of  100 days of African fashion by Diana Opoti.Martini officially announced their partnership with Diana Opoti on this.Am so proud of her she really is doing a Fantastic job on promoting African Designers.I earlier did a post on 100 days of African Fashion incase you wondering what its all about check out my blog post on that.
In attendance was Lucia Musau & Diana Nekoye among other guests.We happen to take a lovely photo that Diana actually put up on her Instagram and tagged me.

Would you believe I got another dog..I never imagined myself getting another one but after much convincing from Dogs Kenya Ltd I decided why  not,so Damian has a girlfriend.Ladies & gentlemen meet Tash!She is lovely,Damian doesn't leave her sight even for a minute,he sure is Love struck!

For a while now i have been style crushing on KTR Style she sure has got this unique style that i just can't get enough of and her blog is just lovely.Do check it out am sure you will love her!

I wore this Ankle boots last week on Friday night.They are 6 inches high i love them so much they are 2 years old but still look new,I only wear them on a night out as I enjoy dancing in them,I can't wear them during the day as I would be so uncomfortable walking or running around in them.
